Nested in the colorful Mediterranean vegetation of San Vito Lo Capo, scenarios of incomparable beauty await you. San Vito Lo Capo and its surroundings offer a variety of itineraries with hiking trails that rise from the sea to more than 1,000 meters high. The trails wind through some of the most famous nature reserves in Italy such as: Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve (the first reserve established in Itlay), Palatimone, Mount Sparagio and the Egadi Islands.
Along these paths, which are ideal for hikers and Nordic walking enthusiasts, group or individual tours are organized by request and adapted to meet the needs of everyone.
Nordic walking is a physical activity which uses specially designed poles, similar to those used in cross-country skiing, in fact the general concept was designed to train and teach cross-country skiing in the off-season. Compared to normal walking, Nordic walking requires the application of force to the poles with each step you take. This involves the use of the entire body at a greater intensity and uses muscle groups in the chest, arms, shoulders, abs and back that are not necessary in normal walking.
